9pek9bo Dad with a Kup'ster son!

Noticed the socks, dirty shoe and a runaway hamster in my new banner above? These are actually the very things that inspired me to nick my blog as 9pek9bo’ (pronounced as ‘khow pek khow bo’ a Hokkien dialect phrase meaning 'to nag')

It is because whenever leempek starts complaining about the messy sight that greets me when I return home each day, my two 2 guilty to the bone ‘siew-yeh chyes’ would teasingly say, “lau-eh, mian 9pek9bo so much la (old fart, don’t nag.....) we are too busy maa…”

Sure enough they were, with one busy lying on the sofa watching video series and the other busily glued to the PC monitor, what can this ‘lau-eh’ do except to 9pek9bo! haizzzz!!

Talking about gluing oneself to the PC… if any married man can spend as much time with his spouse as Charles can with his PC, he should either be a husband 'MADE IN HEAVEN' or they are living at no. 665, nextdoor to the Devil!

Oh yes! Charles’s postcount in the Shoutbox even got him a 2nd ranking
these days.

Not a surprise at all for a person who can even 'kapsiao' so much during his sleep (sleeptalk) and Dr.Dolittling everyday with his hamsters & ‘Boom Tze’ the stray cat……… hahaha!

If he gets any nuttier, he’ll probably be ‘kupster-ing’ (chatty) with imaginery people in his head soon.. and I can imagine his shouting in the SHOUT-OUT would probably be like this…

(note: like any other SO...please read the messages from bottom up)

Education a' la Bad LOSERS

Just when I thought I could get back to blogging some fun thingies, I read in disgust the following ‘kanasai’ report….

Niamah! Of all people to show bad examples as sore-losers to the younger generation of our nation, it has to be the very people entrusted with the responsibility to educate them!

Don’t these BoNau por-lampars’ understand that irrespective of what party the state government is from, they are chosen by us, the rakyat through the constitutional democratic system of the ballot box and thus should be given due respect as honorable statesmen like any others we have had chosen before them? Really ‘mempersiasuikan’ for not understanding such basics!

By the way, aren’t government officers supposed to be non-partisan in politics when carrying out their duties or have I been out in the cyberworld too long to realize the change of rules in the game?

"We cannot hold a torch to light another's path without brightening our own."
said Ben Sweetland

and to these losers, I say..............

just as a reminder to UP YOUR integrity befitting your profession!

My Missing LINKS!

"Linker, Linker...where fore are thou? Please rectifive this really "shortly" because I 'm getting six reading this message, “Oops.. linker is not available right now…. It will be up shortly” on the LINK column….

‘Maaaaaaccherrr-leh!’ apa link pun tak-lak for so many days liao! How am I going to visit my fellow liars, gobloks, monkeys and nothing-to-do housewives of the blogosphere like dat?

It’s so frustrating especially when Leempek was just beginning to enjoy my newfound pastime of going around putting colorful messages in people’s c-boxes like a kid going wild with his crayons!!!

The only friends I could visit now are those who have lately left their URLs along with their messages on my C-box or gave comments.

So ..if you want this cool dad to spice up your Cbox with colors… you know what to do ler ha?
...
leave me a link somewhere ..okay?

English vs Ingrish

ENGLISH PAPER

Question (1):
Rewrite the following passage using your own words:

“Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after”

The answer sheet, in grandiloquent English of a MCE student in the 70's may appear something like this.........

.............and from our present day SPM student, here's what we may get to read, English in it's evolved state ..a dramatic language we Malaysians are all so familiar with......

The Malaysian 'Ingrish' language comprehensible to all Malaysians! "Lets' celebrate and toast to the success of our Bolehland Edu system!...cheers!!!"

Pics Dedication II

Have to say 'solly' to my blogger friends who came visiting this blog lately looking for some laughs (as this blog was intended to have) but instead found leempek ranting on politics instead. Can't help it la...cos I really bey tahan those sipek jialat political parties liao. Now, they all 'hamkaling' under the Tsu-nami ...tsu-niamah or Tsu-niakong General Elections, no need to talk about them anymore..I think.

Besides that, also 'solly' for not updating this blog more often as I could have. Wish I could but my mind was already preoccupied with anxieties, worrying about my 'Income' and 'expeditures' not 'ngam' and balanced in the near future....no wonder I get so tulan each time I see the BN dacing logo ..hahaha!)

The many sleepless nights I had worrying over these thing$ had made me rather moody and becoming a not so cool dad anymore. ..getting impatient with poor Charles was one of the many 'sins' commited lately ..I confess! Fortunately, Charles being that angel son of mine not only understood and tolerated me but has been putting his best front to lift me up and more clowning antics to bring back some cheers into my life. ( Charles, if you are reading this...DON"T get Oo-Bin! ...you are still entitled to your share of nagging from leempek! hehehe!)

Hope that I can sail through this life checkpoint crisis smoothly soon and be back blogging more often....

But before that, I would like to dedicate these photos I took with the SONY camera I inherited from Charles to those blogger friends who came visiting and got disappointed. So,here's to you...ChanLillian, Saewei, Chingy, Anna, Elaine, NicholasChan, Gen Yong , Aaron Woolala, KOKahKOKand many others who came but did not leave any name in the C-box ...also Lasker,JJ, Willazz and other SO friends of my son Charles.

WE CHANGED!!!

As every good thing has to got to come to an end, so has that wonderful 2 weeks of General Election excitement and fever Charles and I had. ...and along with the sweet ending, also out-went the not-so-good things we once had. Namely, the ‘toll di-sini, toll di sana’ AYOYO-SAMY as well as our ‘18 years also laid no eggs’ CHICKEN MOTHER!

Hallelujah!!!! Praise God .....and all thosegobloks’, ‘monkeysand ‘nothing to do housewives’ a.k.a. bloggers too! Let’s also give salute to all those voters who have finally woken and found their balls not to fear changes by putting their ballot crosses on anything else as long as it was NOT the dacing!

GE (General Election) has never been that good and rewarding for us! It was all worth the drenching we took for so many nights out attending ceremahs! How I wish my late mom is still around to witness her dream of 20 years coming true.. DAPs tsunami success!
HEEP HEEP HURRAY!!!! (My late mom was one hell of a staunch DAP supporter who always insisted on riding a BN car to the polling center and then vote for the DAP..she said like that more shiok! LOLs) .I'll be going to her grave with flowers and a Rocket mascot toy soon to say,"Mom, wa lang eh lor-ket ka liao pun khee liao!" hahaha! May she rest in peace!

SMS News: Someone told me that Ayoyo-Samy is going to quit MIC and starts the Party Untuk Kaum India ( P.U.K.I) but before that, he’s booking a small corner lot at Lorong Kulit morning market to sell off those secondhand slippers he collected during his GE Road-show campaign! Please be early, stocks limited! Satisfaction guaranteed, if not you can return the slippers to him in the same manner he collected them from our HINDRAF bros when he comes around next!

Charles accompanied me to the Rifle Range Polling Center in RED on polling day (the in-fashion color of that day ..the color of pent-up ANGER )!!!!

I have always regarded it as my parental duty to bring my children along to GE ceramahs to hear for themselves the other side of the story before they turned blur-sotong politically like many young adults are these days. It’s kind of a ‘brain-detox’ therapy to unlearn all those political rubbish that they had been exposed to from the lop-sided news media we have in this country.( please don't farkin tell me he's under age to listen to ceramahs and yet allowed to be bombarded with all sorts of political propagandas from the TV and newspapers in my own home!!!)

At those recent ceramahs we attended Charles had a great time shooting event pics with his FUJIFILM semi-pro camera like he was a journalist. It was a fantastic experience for him… meeting up and camwhoring with Jeff Ooi…and getting a few words from former Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk seri Anwar Ibrahim personally!

Charles with the now Jelutong MP, Jeff Ooi (the 'godfather' of bloggers)

and here is when Datuk Seri had a word with Charles

while caught up in the traffic jam after the Rifle Range ceramah.

DONE THIS, DONE THAT CRAP!

NIAMAHHHH!!! There they go again belittling our intelligence with that ‘WE HAVE DONE THIS, DONE THAT… THE OPPOSITION JUST TALK .. BUT DO NOTHING’ crap!!

Dei!! Mr. SEMI-BLUE and all other confusion brewers, If you do not know.. It’s already 2008! That kind of hocus-pocus might have worked for you in the 80’s when people are more naive, uninformed/not properly informed or just plain LULU... but NOT NOW anymore! People in this era wears CROCS, that’s why I think they gave you their unwanted slippers! Didn’t you see those big big banners all over town boasting “93.8% Literacy!!”?
This means people now know who we should hold responsible for things to be done!!

SO SOLLEEE for you, we all now know that-

WE, the RAKYAT… are the BOSSES (voters)
and once in every 5 years we get to pick WHO to MANAGE our company (NATION)
in a process called ‘GENERAL ELECTION’
While the ‘Managers’ we picked become the GOVERNMENT,
The Opposition automatically becomes
our company ‘AUDITOR’ ONLY and is therefore NOT expected to do the things you have to do!

For example.. if we, the RAKYAT tells you we wanna SHIT and need toilet papers…
YOU ( and nobody else) should go and buy the toilet papers
because our taxed MONIES are with YOU
and NOT with the Opposition who only act as our AUDITORS!

So DON”T blardy tell us you GAVE US this or that and the Opposition DIDN'T anymore and DON'T even dare to have that silly idea that we should throw a Tea Party to thank you for doing a job you have been handsomely paid to do!!!

By the way, if you claim you have bought 100 rolls of toilet papers
with OUR MONIES ..make very sure there are 100 rolls!
..because if our ‘AUDITORS’( the Opposition) take stock and counted ONLY 40 rolls…It means someone must have taken home 60 rolls to clean his family asses! ...AND WHOSE ASSES YOU THINK WE SHOULD KICK THEN?

To HELL with those wretched election campaigners!!

As if we have not seen enough of them with their mug-shot portrait posters, banners and buntings staring at you from every direction and corner of the street to make us puke till the next General Election, these usually hibernating 'Kanni-labu' YB again wannabes are now suddenly so available and seen ..leading their entourage of ball-lickers tagging along everywhere…lagi more puke la!!!

Popping up at the wet market, coffee shops, food-courts and just about anywhere putting up a front of smiles and friendliness they saved up the last 4 years or so... even the privacy of your time at home is not spared during these cursed campaigning days!

Imagine having to rush out from my bathroom to answer the door with just a towel to cover my ‘ding-a-lings’ and then finding myself an audience of grinning smiles and an outstretched hand looking for mine to shake!( the hand, I mean)

Obliging that handshake through a half opened door was my first lesson to 'never oblige a politician' (especiallly at the ballot box). Niamah!...that fler's handshake was so vigorous that it almost shook off my towel... to reveal my very own 'DAP symbol'!!! Had that been a silent night, he could have probably heard my chime-bell version of ‘JUST CHANGE’ cling-clanging under my towel!.... hahahaha!!!!

So as not to be caught unprepared again, I came out with some plans on how I would response just in case I bump into these 'great pretenders' again…

The 4 Golden Ways on HOW TO RESPONSE when approached by YB wannabes you dislike & hate:

1) When offered those leaflets & mug-shot posters, politely say Mai liao, I still got the ones you gave me 5 (or maybe 10) years ago...still the same one hor?’

2) If you are seated at your table, don’t even look up. Just pretend you are concentrating on your noodles/newspaper/magazine and wave them away when they come to your table saying “ Mai! Mai!..bay liao” or “Moi, moi…mai chor ler” like you have mistaken them for DVD or Lottery tickets peddlers.

3) Put on a smile and ask politely “Are you new here? Have not seen you around before keh???” even though he was the YB for the last 5 years.

4) Take out your hand-phone and pretend talking to someone at the other end loudly KIT SIANG’s ceramah tonite ar? Where ..where? Anwar also ? oh good! Correct! Correct! Correct!........”
While putting up the other hand indicating that they have to wait if they want to talk to you.

'X' WHO LEH? You tell me!

Finally, that '5 years once erection’ as promised by our not-so-well informed Minister to the world on international TV recently is ON ... and the game begins!
Just like the many General Elections before this, I get more & more 'tulan' as the GE fever catches on...hearing more & more lies, untruths and empty promises spitting out from those '3-legged fork-tongued' creatures who have no respect for my intelligence! KKN..MCCB!!! They might as well give out free Dunce caps and mark the word 'IDIOT' on my fingernail when we go to that ballot box!

Niamafoolat! .. even that National Panasonic TV idiot box sitting in that corner of my small living room is beginning to betray me and started taking me for an idiot!! One nite it told me that our beloved ‘Pak lala-lala-lah’ says,“ NO dissolving of Parliament tomorrow ” and when that tomorrow came that same idiot box told me that our beloved ‘Pak lala-lala-lah has dissolved Parliament’.
No wonder my relationship with that idiot-box has not been going well eversince I found this alternative box sitting on my desk now... Muaahhkkkk!!! I love my PC (petite cutey)!!! ...wondering now whether I should dump that evil lying National P...... idiot box which used to be my best companion for the last 10 years or... dump that whatever.... Nasional???? X who leh???

Anyway, I have 2 weeks to ponder & decide on my choice and I hope those politicians that come visiting in the next few days with a botox smile macam glued on their faces and an outstretched dirty hand that had just touched lonkangs and tong-sampahs when they were posing near it... on it ...and even in it for cheap media publicity will not influence my decision on my 'X' who leh?

Talking abt cheap publicity, believe me..... my constituency ex-and still YB-wannabe has got 2 or 3 ‘modeling’ albums to show... This cam-whorer had once even rushed to the scene of a burning flat just to have a photo taken of him holding the fire-hose like he was the hero that saved the day!!!..LOLs!!
The best part of the story was that this very same camwhoring YB was nowhere to be found for a year when the tenants of 101 units of low-cost rented houses in his constituency were evicted by the local council and desperately seeking for his help!(his humpty dumpty soldiers said he was away in CHINA for that long period....dunno doing what? Tatooing his eyebrows perhaps....lols!!)
X who leh?…you tell me!

WARNING-For the next few days any YB wannabe that comes bragging to me that they have done/built/provide this & that for my constituency like they were using their grandfathers’ money instead of my hard earned taxed money to provide these provisions and not to mention, the fat allowance they are paid to do just that, will be getting a ‘ptuiii!’ thank you note from yours gratefully me!!!
Thanks to the good education we fortunately once had I'm NOT that sohai they wish I am!

chap goh meh

Pic taken at Sunway Pyramid during CNY2008

‘CHAP GOH MEH’ meaning the ‘15th NIGHT’ marks the end of the Chinese New Year celebration and the first full moon of the New Year. . It was also the equivalent of ‘VALENTINE NIGHT’ for the Chinese in the olden days.
Back then, instead of roses, teddy bears, candies and a quiet hand-holding( maybe further) romantic night just for two, this night was more like a night where the normally shy amoi-damsels who were strictly not allowed to go out at night, less socialize with the opposite sex, gets their ‘ANNUAL LICENSE’ to do just that!! Tam Ka liao!!!

This means that they can all ‘go out to wet’ & ‘khow chye’(flirt with boys) all night long and ‘no diuu’ be bothered about the next door nosy aunty bitch going yakety-yak-yak around the village!

This is the night where the single amois would go throwing mandarin oranges into the sea believing that it would bring them a good husband as the saying in Hokkien goes,
“THIM KUM, KEH HO ANG”.

But….Wait!!! Before you girls dash to get your mandarin oranges to try it out, let me give you the Latest Revised Edition of this practice which is more economical and brings even better results!

Here's how you go about it.....All you need are just 2 small rocks (instead of mandarins) to throw into the river/sea, but first make sure there’s no one in the water having a night swim. If not, the only person u get is a dead swimmer!

As you throw the first rock, you say,
THIM CHEOK THAU, KEH ENN TAU
(throw rock, marry handsome wan)

As you throw the 2nd rock you say,
“ THIM CHEOK THAU, KEH CHIP ANG MOR LAU
(throw rock, marry into a big house…rich-rich hubby lor)

See? It's so easy..just for 2 rocks you 'll get a rich& handsome hubby!!! But the problem here is ... you are probably missing the boat reading this a bit too late liao! hahaha!!

I have yet to come out with an edited version for guys.(Sorlee to disappoint guys like AaronWoolala and JJ!) Be patient la, maybe at the mean time, you guys try throwing RM50 notes…sure works wan!

HAPPY CHAP GOH MEH TO ALL!

GENERAL ELECTION is ON!

Here's my first post on the General Election.. more akan datang!

happy valentine!

Ooooo!! It’s February 14, VALENTINE again!… a time for the lovebirds to do their annual love dance on a day that was originally meant to honor a saint by the name of St. Valentine of Rome.

It all started because of this one cilaka emperor named Claudius II at that time in Rome who wanted to expand his military power by recruiting young men into the army
…but the youths then were too busy ‘phak-thor-ing’ making plans to start families of their own. With their ‘choy lei toh soh’ attitude, nobody was interested in going for National Service.(Real military national service la ..not like our Bolehland’s summer camp ones!)

So the emperor got ‘tulan’..and banned marriages... not allowing anyone to wed!(maybe he had in mind to start SHAOLIN TEMPLE kua..)

…but a priest by the name of Valentine got even more tulan (....maybe threelan) with the emperor’s ban of marriages and went against the order by holding underground secret weddings for the youths who were in LOVE and wanted to get married.

St.Valentine was finally arrested and sentenced to death in 269AD. While he was in jail awaiting for the sentence, many young people visited him, bearing gifts & notes (dunno got teddy bears or not then) to thank and honor him for his bravery...

So.. many many years later, this practice of gifts giving during VALENTINE DAY made Hallmark Cards, along with the many present day gift-shops owners live happily ever after!

That was how the romantic VALENTINE DAY was born.. making lovers so lum and roses so ‘religious’ on this special day!! Religious because when you see the nicely wrapped pretty roses, you'll go, “Oh my God!” and when you see the price tag,
you’ll go, “ JESUS CHRIST!!”
HAVE A WONDERFUL VALENTINE DAY!!

Not 'LUNAR NEW YEAR' but ' LU MIA NEW FEAR!"

While we are still here in KL celebrating the LUNAR NEW YEAR... the 'LU MIA NEW FEAR ' of having to let loose Charles on his now legal freedom of riding his bike when we return to Penang keeps taunting me.

The only comfort I have now is that...

For the safety of our good citizens, our 'ever-so-clever' good gaomen made very sure that my bespectacled innocent looking cat lover Charles would not turn into a 'road MONSTER', he went through some mandatory intensified 'safe riding' lessons just before the New Year holidays.

After taking his 'undang undang' test ( meant for udang brains I think) and having tempted him to 'Mat- Rempit' in a day of practical rituals , Charles finally got his motor 'Lembu' license!!!
He insisted that all the above fuss were actually meant to protect him instead, from those 'HELL driver' aunties in our Farlim township who are still confused with what's 'kiri' and 'kanan' but yet can be so cocksure of their North, South, East..West Feng Sui thingys!

So, brimming with that same kinda excitement like newly wedded honeymooners who just got their 'license to scr......w', he pasted the 'L' stickers onto his HondaWave like any good citizen would.

So watch out there guys! Here comes the adrenalin charged teenager who is still very blur sotong with the road signs on his wavering HondaWAVE soon!!

Believe me, this is how he actually interprets some of the highway codes when I tested him....

He thinks this sign means ' YOU CAN MAT-REMPIT TILL YOU ARE 55 YEARS OLD!'

This one he says is warning him of those 'MABUK-AUNTY DRIVERS' !!!

"This sign is for reminding the aunties about their WAISTLINE
when they drive to their supper destinations lor", he insisted.

"Direction to Jesus ?"

This one says "LOOK UP when U are driving and U will surely land UP THERE in heaven lor!"

Besides his funny misinterpretation of road signs this guy thinks his 'L' plate means the followings-

1. Caution! This motorist is still LEARNING... how to CONNECT his BRAIN, LEGS and HANDS to the damned brakes system!

2. In LOVE with my bike, DONT YOU DARE SCRATCH IT!

3. LEAVE ME ALONE! I'm already finding hard to handle this one machine!

4. ..and to those who scare the hell out of him by honking from behind., this 'L' means 'LANCIAO..lu ! LOL!!!!!!!

Xing Nian Lai Lo!

With the "Xing Nian Lai Lo" song bombarding my ears daily, reminding me that CNY is juz around the corner, I had better post this before we head south to KL for our CNY..

So,here's our family wishing all our friends and visitors of 9pek9bo .....

A velly HAPPEEEEE NEW YEAR
& MAY THE YEAR OF RAT
BE THE BEGINNING OF A BETTER & HAPPIER LIFE
FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!"
If it's been too long since you last tasted happiness and oledi dunno what a smile looks like...pls refer to Charles' hamsters on the CNY banner above for smiling lessons..smile like 'keen ngah ng keen ngan' (see eyes no see teeth) like that lor!..

God Of Fortune

Like Christmas children believing that there is this bearded generous old man called Santa who could give them the goodies they wished for, Chinese adults do have their own bearded generous ah pek whom they wish would come a calling during the celebration of the Chinese New Year (mmm si la! not that bearded Ah Bhai( Mangkalai) milkman that comes delivering every morning la!)…. This ‘$ANTA’ is of a different league altogether. He’s the ‘God of FORTUNE’ alias ‘CHOY $AN YEH’ that brings $$$$$$$$... kachhing!kachhiing! Kachhiiing!!!!!

Niahmafoolat!!! That’s what they say nia… In contrary, somehow each time we get to see this ‘Choy San fler’at shopping complexes and at this time of the year, dunno why I actually get poorer. Is it juz me or juz a coincidence that whenever we get to see him, surely my wallet gets lighter & slimmer and the digits in my bank account gets younger?( how I wish it’s my body that gets all these effects ..hahaha!)

Last week, while we were in Taman Putra, Cheras (KL) morning market we met, for the first time… a lady Choi San!

I told Charles, she better be the spouse of “God of Fortune’ and not his daughter… If not, we are in trouble liao if she is Miss Fortune (misfortune) the daughter... hahaha!

Choy San Phorr standing in for Choy San Yeh.. See?, Nepotism is not only popular among politicians...even the gods are fast catching up! (Saik Lo!)

What next? How about Choy San Chyes? I 've got one here waiting to sign up as one! This fler' no need 'tee koay' to make him write good reports to heaven .. just give him sweet sweet SMILES for his camera lens and he 'll surely give you a thumbs-up report to the cyber heaven!

For good fortunes, just SMILE when you see this CHOY SAN CHYE!

Once again, GONGXI FA CAI!!!! from all of us here.

Our Northern Region as Chinese Jiang Jun warriors

Tony leading the MST reps as StarWars Warriors

Southern Region (Johore) as 'Fu thau Tong'( the Axe Gang)

..all armed with an axe each in their hands ready to 'Hoi pheen'!

East Malaysia Region marching in as Rangers

to the tune of one dunnowat M'sian patriotic song.

DADADA TAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

The 'Pei Ma' (NORTHERN REGION) !!!!

Walau eh! never seen soldiers going to war smiling like 'tiok beh peoh' like this wan leh!

Our sharing session before bedtime

The 3 'kokonuts' at one of the b4 bedtime sharing session in 2006
( earlier pics available but release form not approved by Charles to publish..hahaha!)

Pre-bedtime has always been an entertaining time for our small family here all these years. While it is supposed to be a kind of ‘Dad-Opened for Discussion’ hour, a sharing time for us to put forth proposals and all family related business... it usually turns out to be more like 'Dad-Opened for Attack' hour because this is the time where I have to take off my ‘dad stripes’ and join in the rank!

Without the DAD authority card, none to say I am no longer a sideliner in their name calling and teasing games…ending with names such as ‘LAU-EH’ (the old one) or ‘TUAPOOI’ (meaning fatty... ahemmm! this is only the opinion of two BOKASI CHUP CHENG KIA anorexics nia!) Oops! I just cursed myself…hahaha!

No matter how I tried making this sharing session a serious matter, with this Charleskey the circus escapee around, it somehow always end up more of a teasing/jokes & riddles session... making us all go to bed still laughing and smiling like fools!

Here are some of those funny riddles we shared over the years.....

Preparations for the Annual Sales Convention.

Preparation for our coming national sales convention at Genting Highlands this month has kept me busy and unable to find time to ‘9pek9bo’for a while.

As a working committee member (a.k.a. ‘kaypo’ ppl) of the Northern region for this event, I was entrusted with the job to organize, design and make the costumes for our group of 20 +1(commander) Chinese warriors to march, but more likely stroll in during the Opening Ceremony of the convention. (Diuuu! why can't they go in as aboriginal warriors.. then, I only have to make 21 pieces of loin cloths to cover their groins only lorr!..summore saves time, saves $$$$! and airy for their 'ding-alings' mah!)

So, after putting my old rusty brain into overtime gear to come out with the visuals and with the help of Charles, we made a prototype headgear. Last weekend we ‘transformed’ our sales office into a Santa’s workshop and exploited our ‘elves’ to mass produce the headgears.

My visual plan.

Mass production of the headgears by my colleagues ( the overgrown 'elves')

We had so much fun (..or maybe just me, since I was only working with my vocal cord ..hehehe!), we intend to be back this weekend again to make 16 battle flags and to brainstorm for a ‘War-cry’ as required.(funny.. has been wondering why soldiers need to cry before killing their enemies in war… isn’t it the job of the victims’ families to do just that? Hahaha!)

The finished headgears..modelled by Charleskey here.

Nice onot? velly same same like the 'toong toong charnng' opera leh?

Also, as the ‘Paul Moss’(underqualified one, of course) of my company, I have to audition and groom our Idol-contestant and the backup dancers (representing our northern region) for the night dinner event and incidentally, our idol representative this year has chosen to sing “Ja-jam-bo”( dunno whether this song is older or I am…lol!)
Sharing with you here are some pics of the dance practices…

The song goes something like" Ja jaa mmm bo... ni kann wor, wor kann nee...."
